How I use AI

The past few years have seen the emergance of AI in image processing. All digital images are made up of mathematical formulas called “algorythmic tone maps.” With bigger data storage and high speed internet, we can now all take advantage of it. I use AI now every day…to extend backgrounds; remove reflections on glasses, etc. BUT I still find that the human hand combined with the aesthetic judgements of the human brain ALWAYS produces the best results. Machines can process. Humans can process AND decide whether or not that process resulted in a beautiful image.

The one on the right is by me. The one on the left is by a machine. Even the city background is my photograph. But AI could do ok making that visual.
